You'll be surprised how fast you adapt to it.

All great ideas above and welcome aboard! You will get the hang of it pretty quick. Always plan your route well in advance and run several plots while underway...Gps...Iphone/Ipad...know where and when your turns are...this eliminates the dead ends. Dont forget about low clearances on bridges /electrical lines and TREES! At 55 MPH it will take about 125 yards for a complete stop.

Talking FOLLOW-UP to Driving me Crazy

I follow a lot of these forums and very often I read a thread and never see closure on the subject. Well, here's mine:
I appreciate all the input and advice. I decided to do a little of all the feedback.
We made a decision on a coach: we ordered a 2015 Winnebago Forza 38R, with all the bells and whistles. I watched many of the driving video's and we are planning to take the course (maybe twice) at the dealer (Lazy Days - Tampa). Many of the video's on UTube were video's from this dealer and it impressed us on the approach, the seminar training, and the little tricks to driving an RV. The RV should arrive in late July and we are looking forward to getting on the road. We will plan on a lot of local trips to 'sea-trial' the coach and get all the kinks out.
Thanks again and we look forward to some day meeting some of you on the road.

Congratulations on your new coach. You will do fine.

Wave as you go by. We will recognise you by the big smile.
