Excited new RV'er
Hi all, very happy to be here on this forum and hope to learn more about this lifestyle. BTW, is "RV'er" even a word?
Anyway, my wife and I had been talking about getting a travel trailer for a while and we finally took the plunge.
Picked up a new to us 1968 Norris Homes Consul II camper. Not a lot of info on this manufacturer so I'm kinda guessing at model. I do know this camper was built in New Tazewell, TN. She's a lovely chalky white aluminum with a hint of rust, my fav.
Got a lot of plans for her. First is to stop the roof leaks and replace a portion of the floor. Next is get her road ready. Interior wood work is in great shape considering. Wife has a lot of ideas for décor.
Looking forward to learning a lot about her during this adventure. Our first overnight is the weekend of July 12&13. Got to get to work!

Cool
How exciting! Making your new/used home the way you want it is half the fun. Keep us updated on it's progress.
P.S.- I believe RV means "Really Valuable". At least that's what I tell people when we sell our RV's to upgrade.
