Looking for advise on recommended extended warranty plans to cover a new Newmar Bay Star we are purchasing.

I've never been a fan of extended warranties on RV's. I think that in most instances you will be better off putting that same amount of money into a special bank account to be used only for repairs! JMHO

Welcome to the forum. You should read the extended warranty concerning the items that are covered and if labor charges are also covered. Also, if you are on a trip and need extended warranty service, do you need to take it back to the dealer? Are any of the coach appliances (a/c, microwave, hot water heater, etc.) covered?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new coach.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. First off your new coach should come with a warranty for at least the first year. Second NEVER and I repeat NEVER buy an extended warranty from a dealer. It is a big ticket add on for them and a huge profit maker. Third save your money as you are much more likely to spend more on the policy than you will on repairs.
