Fired Up
The Admiral and I just purchased a 2009 Winnebago View. We have been full time live aboards on our Motor Yacht for 11 years and love the life style. We are looking forward to also explore the Land Yacht experience. This unit should accommodate us and our two small dogs and still fit in a parking space at our home Marina. Looking forward to learning from you folks.

Frank--your gonna love it! We were never FT on ours, but used to own a 27' cabin cruiser when we lived in Syracuse, NY. We'd take it up the Erie Canal, cross Lake Ontario, then meander as far up the St. Lawrence Seaway as the U.S. Charts would take us, stopping in various U.S. And Canadian ports/campgrounds. Was great fun, but when the kids were born, just wasn't practical for us. So we sold the boat and remained "in-between" boats for several years until we discovered the RV lifestyle. Now we are on our second RV and it's pure joy when we are on it. The kids are now 11&14, and the RV provides us with extra quality time with them.
I find that maintaining some of the RV systems is quite reminiscent of the boat, but many systems are far easier to maintain on the RV.
Enjoy your new land-yacht!!
