First RV

First RV for us a reiterment present for me and the DW purchased at the hershey show this year a 2014 newmar bay star 3124 and just found out chassis prep is scheduled to be started on 11/27 then on to building 7 on 12/4. Wish we could be there to watch assembly but not possible. Would like to here good or bad from anyone who owns this this model or similar model. Also concered about highway handeling seems like the majority on this site have put on a heavy duty sway bars and steering stabilizer will this change be needed or has ford improved the 2014 chassis. Great site and learned alot here. Thanks

Welcome!!!

Glad you are here also!!

Sorry I can not provide much input on your Rig. But there are many here who I am sure can. I would also look under the owners section for your make.

Have fantastic times on the road and we are looking forward to hearing from our fellow RV'ers.

Blessings
Jim & Trina

Congrats on your new purchase!! Since you can't be there during the build, you might want to go to the Newmar forum and post your build dates on the " who's at Kamp Newmar" thread. There might be someone at the factory that week taking the factory tour and if you supply them with your build number they might be able to get you some photo's. Have them check with the folks running the tour in advance, as they sometimes say no photos, but I've seen plenty of pictures of customer coaches being built including our own coach.

Welcome to the site. The anxiety at this point must be killer. Not too much further to the point where the fun can begin. Me when I retire i'll probably go all out and spend the big bucks on a pad of paper or maybe a stapler.

Welcome to irv2.
Congratulations on your to be new Newmar.
In my signature there are three links that will have something to do with your new Newmar.
Here is a Brochure and a Owners Guide for you.
When you have the time come down to the Newmar forum and you can search for owners of the BS or find many pages of information on them.
You need to get use to driving your Ford after you get it loaded with your stuff than get it weight and adjust your tire pressures to the load your will be carrying.
Than if need be add some added devise you may not need anything on size coach you have.
You have plenty to read and we will always be here in Newmar forum for your questions welcome to the Newmar family.
