Well, we made it down OK. Had some rain but nothing major. The campground is nice enough and plant of good people here.
I ran everything on the way down to see how bad it was with gas millage......6.8mpg is what we averaged @ 70 MPH.... from that I adjusted to 63 mph and not running the engine AC.
Weight is 22k lb, 9k front 13k back..... looks like most things are working, we are having a small issue with hot water. Hope I can fix it

Welcome Stefan & family. Have a great time in Myrtle Beach. The weather should be great there at this time.

It's great to see another new rver posting here. Your questions get answered here. I'm sure you will enjoy your new motor home.
Georgia is my home. I guess I got misplaced into North Florida.

Well, we are back from our first weekend trip. 730 miles. The rig did fine. I have a list of things to add over the next few days as we are heading to Panama City for Thunder Beach on Wednesday.
I have to find out why all of my fresh water transferred to my black water tank on the trip up here.
I need to see if I can get the electric part of the water heater to work.........

OK 2 trips in 1600 miles and we are still doing good.
We love that we can just go, and not worry about the dogs and all.
Next trip will be in June. Pigeon forge I think......should be fun .....again....lol

Finally got shore power to our unit in the back yard yesterday.
I have been reading and it goes both way. I like the shore power hooked up so I can ensure the coach stays fresh and ready to roll.
We are also looking at replacing the mattress with something a little better than original......

Hi folks,
There have been other posts on this subject, but one cheap, lightweight answer to the matress problem is an airbed. Camper people sell them, WalMart has them, and of course, RV specific stores have them. If you have a standard size and shape, it's easy; otherwise, you may need to get a custom unit.
Just a thought.
Tom

Hi Neighbor, I had a Pace Arrow once...not NEARLY as nice as yours. Sold it to a UGA fan who wanted to tailgate. Hope he made it at least one time.
We now have a '96 Itasca Suncruiser. We'll be visiting a rally at Stone Mountain Park next weekend. Live within sight of the place and have never stayed there. Maybe it's TOO close.
Enjoy your Pace Arrow.
