First time MH campers-new to IRV2

Hello. Writing this is Richard and camping with me is my lovely bride Margaret. Assisting in all assets of camping, lifestyle etc is 11 year old Shi-Tzu Tinkerbelle.

Having camped from tents to pop-ups to travel trailers while raising family we now, as empty nesters, have purchased our first used motorhome.

The circumstances of the seller of the home are sad as he is diagnosed with terminal bone cancer and we pray for his blessing and the family to cope. We are however excited to be the purchasers of his 2000 Fleetwood Bounder DP 39Z. We hope to honor you Joe by making good use of your home!

Our plans include having our 2012 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic as toad most of the time as we attempt to re-engage the RV lifestyle we have enjoyed for so many years in a new area of the country that we moved to 1 year ago.

Currently residing in the Dallas Texas area and born and raised mid-westerners from the Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin area we hope to travel around a bit escaping the extreme heat as it comes and riding our HOG. There are some beautiful areas all around us so we hope to enjoy and run into some of you in our travels.

A great website and community here I'm sure. Already have used much of the information to help in a purchase decision and now using the forum talks to aid in upgrades, repairs etc etc.

Thank you for the welcome and Happy Trails.

Richard & Margaret Kimball (as well as Tinkerbelle)

Welcome Richard & Margaret along with Tinkerbelle. Dallas area sure get hot in the summer time thats for sure. Have a sister-in-law in the Little Elm Area. Nice lake with camping and boating close to her also. Might see you there once in a while.
