We are mid 60s and wanted an RV for a number of years, live in Canada, Ontario. Looking forward to exploring RV country! We previously had a 25 ft row behind and enjoyed it, travelling locally and to California and back.
Just purchased a 2013 Winnebago vision 3500 Mercedes sprinter chassis is something we’ve been looking for for a number of years, quite the low mileage, Miles of trouble free driving we hope. Any feedback from members what to look out for would be very much appreciated. I’ve spent my life in the automotive industry, and I expect to do my own repairs within reason. So far I’ve just did the battery maintenance and winterize until spring.
Our first challenge is trying to acquire insurance for the motorhome, I am still waiting for the insurance company to call me back. Did not expect to have a challenge in that area. Perhaps someone may give me some pointers there. Their first question after getting my Vin, it was whether it was a modified vehicle?
