First time searcher
Hello all. Long time camper but new to IRV2. Looking for some help for a neighbor with his frig. Gonna search the posts for related topics. Thanks in advance for all the help.
Basically, his norcold frig in 2012 Layton Skyline 347 has stopped all together. No power light and no cooling. I referred him to dealer since its under warranty, but couriosity demands I try to find the reason. lol.

If under warranty take it back to the dealer.

Hi David, welcome to the forum. Good luck to your friend with his Norcold problem. My guess is that may be the first of many. At least that was my Norcold experience.

Welcome, and I echo the others; warranty covered = dealer, or else you could find it suddenly not covered at all.

I finally got a chance to speak with neighbor about the "fix." As it turned out the electrician set up the new power outlet at 50 amps. He put a 50 amp plug on it. He then "made" a 30 - 50 amp pig tail for the camper as "part of the deal." It shot 50 amps thru the system. So warranty didn't pay but electrician did. Lesson one....licensed and insured techs only. Lol.
