First Time TT Owner

Moving up from a Popup Camper, my husband and I take delivery on our first travel trailer on Friday. We are purchasing a 2013 Starcraft AR-One 17RD and have a lot to learn. The Pop-up served us well for many years but we are ready for the amenities that a travel trailer provides. We have so much to learn. We are also NASCAR fans and are anxious to break our new baby in at the Kansas Race in April.

Thanks All.

Congrats and Welcome!

Just to reiterate, on walk through at delivery, open every thing that opens and closes, and flip every switch on and off. Make sure they all work as they were designed to do.

Trust me, I have the experience of not doing so.

We cleaned out the old pop up tonight and I could not believe how much stuff we had crammed into that little thing! I made a resolution to NOT put all that stuff back into the new one and to clean out every storage compartment every 5 years in the new one. We owned the pop up since 2007. Didn't think I was a pack rat, but Whew!

Yep, every time we change rigs have that experience. Where does it all come from?
Even worse trying to empty the sticks and bricks. Who knew we had so many duplicates!

Congratulations and many safe travels.
