First trip under out belts!

Finally able to take the new MH out for it's maiden voyage. I have to say, things went pretty well. Couple of notes on our trip:

Glad we had wifi so that we could look up those little details as we tried to get everything working. Thanks everyone on the iRV Boards for joining us! Things we didn't know -

  1. GFI plugs are 'daisy chained' together. On our coach, you have to reset the GFI in the bathroom to get the kitchen outlets to work. We were looking this up as we were trying to make coffee...Don't mess with me before coffee...
  2. Our awning has an auto retract feature for when it gets windy. Glad we knew ahead of time, as it retracted Saturday as we were sitting under it.
  3. Setting the fridge to run using the inverter (our last RV ran on Propane)
There was a ton of other things that we read over the last couple of months, which helped us stock the MH and prepare us for our first adventure. We had both warm and cold temps (love New England), so were able to test everything, including the heat and A/C.

Next up - Lake George in a few weeks.

Welcome and congrats on the rig. It can be a steep learning curve sometimes but it is over pretty quickly. Enjoy the adventure
