Flanagan, my wife hails from Brockton, met her there in 1967, tied the knot in 69, been together ever since, must be all that RVing for 42 years (an ability to "co-exist" in small places). I "studied" Motor Home segment (briefly), Winnebago is one company that "engineers into their rigs" quality and reliability, rather then cover stuff with glitz.

Small world isn't it? My wife is from Brockton as well. Did you cruise Main Street back in the day? Brockton was the place to be for local gear heads. I was running around there in the 60's & 70's myself.

Indeed, small world. It was a long distance relationship (60 miles) I lived in Lawrence, MA. I met her in my brand spanking new 1967 red Cougar, high compression 289, close ratio 4 on the floor and Mercury factory installed 8 track. Changed the tires to wide biased ply Kellys so I could throw lots of white smoke in the first gear. Ah the vagaries of youth.
