From A New Member - Greetings to all!! :-)

Hello, my name is Jimmy Maltese and I am BRAND NEW to RVing. Back in the 80's I did some traveling in a new van I converted myself. I have the traveling bug again and I'm doing research for possibly purchasing a Class C RV for full time living and travel. For close to 30 years I've been a professional musician/singer/ entertainer (Google my name) living mostly in South Florida though I have traveled across the U.S. many times.

I am looking for all types of info and tips for RVing such as:
1. Most recommended Class C RV manufacturers.
2. How to find jobs (gigs) while traveling. IE. Do RV campgrounds allow musical shows on their premises for tips?
3. The Basic do's and don'ts for RVing.
4. Am I crazy for wanting to start this lifestyle at 56?

You get my point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If this works out maybe I can get to perform in a local venue close to you.

Thanks everyone!

Welcome. No your not crazy. Many of the campgrounds we frequent allow people to sell crafts and stuff on their campsite.

Howdy and welcome! I'd recommend looking around the forum for topics and sections that pertain to your RV interests and ask all the questions you want. There is a section of the forum for "workkamping", where job opportunities for full time RVers are discussed. Good luck.
