From lurker to member - it's the Orangepeels!
Hi all!
I have been lurking about the IRV2 forums and recently decided I should have an account and join in. You can call me Orangepeel and I am originally from California, lived a few year and Florida and for the past four years have resided in southwest Washington.
I grew up with RVing grandparents and many a summer would join them in their travels. Mr Orangepeel and I have been looking at and considering an RV purchase for about 5 years now. We have finally decided to bite the bullet and are close to making our first purchase!
We have decided for our needs/wants/lifestyle that a Thor Outlaw is the right rig for us. Right now we are talking to two dealers and hope to make a decision on which one to go with in this next week. Just have some more questions & due diligence to go through before we make our choice.
Looking forward to talking to you all, hopefully not driving you all crazy with questions and hoping some day I might have enough knowledge to answer some questions for others!

Thanks everyone for all the warm welcomes!! Such a friendly group on these forums. I have been having a nice Saturday reading through dozens of pages of posts on the Outlaw. I think I may be up to 2012 posts now! LOL!

best of luck in your Outlaw pursuits - stay off those wanted posters. Don't wanna see Orangepeel on the post office bulletin board.
We lurked for about 6 months ourselves. Great place. Glad you joined and look forward to your posts and reading of your adventures. Post those new rig photos or as they say - it didn't happen!

Aw, but we are SO photogenic (not!). Actually I am one of those people who hates having her photo taken. Mr Orangepeel jokes that our kids are going to look back at their baby photos and think they were raised by Invisible Mom!

This site has seemed nothing short of fabulous so far. It is also nice to see a community of friendly helpful people!
And yes, pics will be coming as soon as we make a choice. We have dropped one dealer out of contention but have another one added into the race. It is now down to who will get us the best price and who also has a good reputation.
