From lurking to joining! Silicon Valley, CA
Hello all,
I have been happily lurking here for a while, so thought it was time I'd join in.
I've been doing research for months, but am still a window shopper at this point. My plan is to buy something small and easy for me to handle for myself and my 13 year old Chocolate Lab, Peet, to spend long weekends in. Living in a (bigger) RV is my ultimate dream. Peet and I have driven cross country a few times in my minivan, and having my own little RV would be terrific.
Living in the insanity of Silicon Valley as a renter makes my dream of living in an RV even more sensible. At least I like telling myself that. 
I enjoy reading all the tips here and appreciate seeing how helpful folks are to one another. I look forward to learning and becoming part of the community.

I looked for guidance under FAQ and am still not sure on etiquette about sending 'thanks' for welcomes. Too much time on Facebook and maybe it's not the same as a 'like'? So I'll quit clicking on sending 'thanks' to ya'll (unless someone tells me otherwise) but I do appreciate the welcome.
