From Winnipeg

Just wanted to say hi to everyone as I am a new member on this site, and have just purchased my first rv. Looking forward to reading all the great posts by all of you and hope I can learn a thing or two about being an rv owner.

Thanks!
Donato

OK, time to get you re-started , on the right foot.
Schedule, Oct.15 , Pack RV, Oct16th , start RV and point it south.
Drive until no-one nows the meaning of the word FROST, let alone the conversion factor for -45C.

We're in a park just south of Lake Havasu City, 280 sites, 40% Canadian.
A number from Sask. $320 month + power has a 9 hole golf course inc.
A whole lot depends on what you like to do, & what your intrests are.
A few things we found . Phoenix, too big for our liking. Casa Grand , ok size wise , but close enough to Phoenix to get smog. Yuma, dust & wind.
Quartzsite, ditto. Bullhead City/Needles, windy and can get cold as well as dusty when the wind comes in from the north. But you know all about that ; Portage & Main.
These are the places that we have spent enough time in to form an opinion. Best rates are for the month long stay. DW wants to try Bisbee/ Tombstone area, could be this year.
