FT in South Texas

It's i want to thank everyone for this great forum! I've been lurking for a couple months and have gotten some great information and have been able to save money on repairs because of it! My wife and I are in our 50's and have lived in North Texas for the past 40 years. I've always wanted to move closer to he coast so I could fish more. I then realized that the company I work for has a yard down here, applied for transfer and began the move. Uh oh, that's where the trouble started. Big oil boom here. No housing. Luckily I had upgraded from my old 78 model 21' 5er to
A nice 27.5 Prowler 5er with slide. We moved into an RV park about 2 months ago and love it! When I want to go to the coast for the weekend j just back up and hook onto the house, make sure everything will ride and a head out. All the comforts of home!
I've had anything from
A tent, pickup slide in camper, 33' bumper pull to a Casita. 1 weekend, got rid of that turkey. Nothing bad except for just too small.
Anxious to join in the discussions, help others and learn more along the way!
