Full timing it in a vintage RV

Hi all,

I recently bought a 93 Tiffin Allegro Bay motorhome and I'm looking to fix it up for me and my dogs to boondock around the forests. The old girl is in working condition but needs the brakes tightened because it was a scary drive home 😆 I'm also looking for a toad because I incorrectly assumed I could pull my Camry 4 down but it seems like I'd have to spend thousands on either a trailer or drivetrain disconnect so I'm looking to sell it and get a flat tow ready ride. Really liking the little trucks like Trackers or similar.

I'm open to any tips on the above or anything else for a newbie. I don't know much but I'm excited to learn! From wiring electrical to bigger batteries so we can have house power without the generator to painting her up and removing inner walls I'm ambitious about where this project will take me. Nice to meet y'all 💜

If a 1993 has poor brakes it's probably best to go through them, change the flex lines, bleed them to get all the old fluid out. Then do a complete brake brake job. Might as well pull the front hubs and repack the bearings, most likely the rotors are glazed and should be turned anyway.
