Gettin my rv tomorrow

Excitement doesn't describe how I feel today.more like jumpin out of my skin.I think I've been dreaming of this day a long time.Im glad to be joining the forum to share the experience with others who know the lifestyle.I had a Class c shasta about 20 years ago and it was great even though it doesn't compare to the 2006 thor hurricane I'm about to buy.In a couple of weeks I'm heading west out of Boston.I hope to connect with some of you along the way.

Congrats! I've had my RV about two months now and have spent 5 nights in it. Wish I could spend more in it! Please post a picture after you get it.

Congratulations on your new Motor Home. I just bought a new Fleetwood, and if I could do it over again, I would make sure that everything and I mean everything was 100% prior to taking delivery. I allowed the dealer to convince me to take the coach for a week or two and then they could address everything. I have now been waiting two weeks for them to even touch my coach.

I ain't saying my dealer lied... He just didn't tell me the whole truth...

I bought my motor home from Findlay RV in Las Vegas, NV...

When you say you are going to head west I'm curious what route and how far.

Unless you head south for a while you will probably encounter snow.

I know up in your country the campgrounds are all pretty much closed until spring. You may find that true along 80 also, although I don't know for sure.

10 has open campgrounds the entire length of the country 12 months of the year.

Think Ill be making a bee line to CA or AZ unless the weather cooperates in the northeast and midwest. I can take my time if it does, but if the 'weather" moves in Ill head south fast and then go west.

Welcome to the group, and good luck with your Thor. Have safe trouble free travels, and no snow.
