Getting Away From LA

We come humbled into your midst.

We have been lucky enough to find a Class A 35' 2005 Expedition to begin our travels. It has been a real pleasure after a little bity of refurbishment. Now just waiting for the grandkids to join us this summer for our first "Granny" camp.

Our travels started last September with our pilgrimage to Sedona and area. Already lost a couple of tires and a fender flare on the toad (2000 Jeeps Wrangler) because we (I) forgot to unlock the steering wheel after a stop. But thanks to G_d, the Jeep is easy to fix like a lego, and that has been our only mishap to date. Oh, we know more are coming, but I think we got off easy for a start.

Just finished a great trip via Payson, AZ, to Socorro area bird sanctuaries, White Sands, Deming, Silver City, et. al. Spent a wonderful weekend at Hidden Valley RV Resort outside of Deming. Not a great road for a Class A, but the owners, guests, and vibrant activities more than made up for it. Met some guest archeologists looking at petroglyhs just outside the resort gates.

We are just so honored to be in your midst, and hope to meet a great bunch of you all down the road.

Keep Safe,

Ron and Rosie

Welcome to the forum, we are soon to be living up around the Payson area. I too have done the Jeep steering wheel mishap once before but caught it after a 1/2 mile. Enjoy your travels.
