Getting excited about retirement

Hi everyone,

I am 7 years away from retirement and working hard to set up my after retirement future. The wife and I plan to purchase a fifth wheel and truck when I am done working. We currently own a 38' Dutchmen, purchased in 1994, that is stationary in a coast to coast park in NE Ohio. Plans are to purchase another lot there for April to October living and then hit the road. Thanks for the welcome, we hope this forum can help us in some major decisions down the road. People who have experienced it are the best informants, so we hope to meet those nice people.

Thanks, Timothy Goodwin

You won't really enjoy retirement. You won't be able to get up early every morning and go into work and put up with all that crap.

Seriously, good deal. Planning ahead is a good thing.

I have been excited about it for several years as well. Finally got there a couple months ago. Wow!

Be Careful! I've been retired three years this month and it seems like it has flown by. But I wouldn't trade it for one minute back to work.
