Hi!

I wanted to introduce myself as one of your new members. I will be retiring in May 2014 and am itching to jump in my motorhome (2002 class C Coachmen) and explore. I have been camping forever and prefer the more off the grid places, in the woods by a stream or a remote lake with my fishing pole in the water. Sitting by a campfire at night with a glass of wine. I am looking forward to exploring as well though; small rural towns and meeting the people. I have a huge bucket list. Homer, Alaska and catch a halibut, explore northern New Mexico, see the east coast, especially the northern part and catch lobsters, kayak along the small islands, check out Nova Scotia.. Want to visit the Gulf and hang out in New Orleans.. All of it,! But do it nice and slow and smell every rose

along the way..I have a 16 yr old dog named Willie Good Dog, but I am afraid he won't be with me for long.. We are keeping our fingers/paws crossed. It is comforting to know that there are others out there in the RV world I can turn to for advice on so many of the issues that are sure to come up when one is alone on the road from maintenance and repair to ideas about campground spots to just moral support.
