Getting Started
Hi Folks, looks like a great place to hang out! DW and I just traded in our RAM 3500 with Cummins and DRW and 30' bumper pull toyhauler for this little couples coach. We've already named him "Shorty" and are beginning to have it outfitted for our needs. WE ordered a Fantastic fan with a vent hood for the living/galley area and cover for the stove. Our Jeep is being outfitted with a set of tow plates and tow bar Friday. Other than that we're just moving things from the old camper to the new MH and settling in. No big plans yet but a check out trip for a wedding in North LA the middle of next month.
Looking forward to learning a lot and sharing when we can.

Congratulations on your new adventure. I'm sure you'll have loads of fun.
One note for you. Do you know the towing capacity for Shorty? Many small mh's only have a 3500 lb rating and I'm pretty sure your Jeep may be close or exceed this amount.
Again, welcome to the forum and any questions you might have, don't hesitate to ask. Lots of experienced people here.

HI lanerd ! Ole Shorty can tote 5000 lbs with ease. Our lil 2 dr Wrangler will fall under that with the roof up and windows zipped in. Thanks for checking on us. Lord knows we need all the help we can get.
