Good afternoon!

Bob and Sally here. We are a retired couple and just getting into RV'ing. We live in the upstate SC and are looking for good campgrounds, tips and even RV clubs in this area. We have a 5th wheel. Oh, and obviously brand new to this site as well. 😃

Hello Kansas! Thank you. I noticed in your profile it states "Army", are you retired or active? My husband is retired Navy. We're looking for military campgrounds as well. Thanks for the greeting.

For what's it worth, if you don't have a Senior Pass get one ASAP. For a one-time fee of $10 you will get a lifetime of half-priced cost for any C.O.E., National, and Federal campground fees.

I won't list here, but ask around as to where to go to get the pass. You will need some ID and must be 62 or older.

Nitehawk! Thank you.. We actually purchased that pass last year while in AZ. This was pre-RV, however we had driven out and back and planned to hit several National parks on the way home. Our first camping experience was right here in SC at Twin Lakes, which is ACOE. We were pleasantly surprised to fine the cost was half! 😃

Steve N Sal, thank you. Our best friends, and fellow campers, are also from Michigan. Do you mind my asking what area?

Welcome! If you're looking for military campgrounds, try downloading the FREE Allstays Military app for your smartphone. Here's the web based information:

Military Campgrounds FamCamps RV Parks

You can find the app in Google Play, or the Apple store.

Enjoy!
