Good Morning...New to iRV2

Good Morning from Sunny Florida. (Our hearts are in Ohio)

I'm Tammie and Gerry is my wonderful husband and traveling partner. (he drives while I sleep) Our 3 year old psycho pup, Faith and a lazy kitty, Eeyore travel with us. We moved to FL about nine years ago, Gerry is in Engineeing Services with Disney and I keep the fires burning at the old homestead. As I fondly call it the Saddler Ranch and Looney Bin. I'm the head loon.

We recently purchased a 2012 Forest River Wildwood 27RKSS. We pull it with a 2011 F150. We can't wait to get it on the road! We're weekend campers and take about 4 weeks vacation. The Smokies are our main vacation destination. ooo Don't I sound like a travel agent.

We had a 2000 Four Winds Chateau class C. Which was a "forced" impulse buy. But we loved it!
Now that we're grown up campers we decided to go the TT route.

While the new one sits in the drive waiting for it's first trip, we go out and sit in it and talk and plan.

Well....in a nut shell that's us.
Glad to be a part of the group here.

Have a great day,
Tammie

Tammi and Gerry. You guys sound like me (not the DW). I keep our Winnie hooked up to 30A all the time to keep the batteries charged and the fridg on, for obvious reasons. I go out sometimes and watch football or racing, just me and peanut. It's still sorta camping even if it' in the yard.

We usually camp at Lake Louisa...nice and quiet. Snakes and gators Any other campground ideas are welcome. We can leave on a Wednesday evening and have to be back Friday night.

Hi Tammie & Gerry! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the group here! The Smokies and the Blue Ridge Parkway are our favorite places. We stay a month in Maggie Valley in the fall. Good luck & God bless!

Howdy Tam and welcome to the forum!! There are lots of us "driveway campers" who sit out there in our yard, dreaming of faraway places!! It's nice to have you here; congrats on the new RV.
