Greetings from Colorado
New to the forum and very happy to have found this great source of information. Like others, I visited for a while and because I liked what I saw, decided to join.
My wife and I love to travel the US and are finally in a position to enjoy those travels from a motor home. We've lived in various parts of the country - I'm originally from Maine (hence the user name) and my wife is from Washington. With families on both coasts, and our location in Colorado, a motor home was a no-brainer for us. We're near retirement age, but not quite there yet, so we're easing our way into this.
Last year we bought a new Winnebago View 24G and so far it's already been to Maine (via Canada) and to WA State. We're loving the mobility and struggling with many of the same issues discussed here, so I'm looking forward to researching routes, campgrounds, apps, accessories, modifications, limitations, and just plain reading for entertainment. I enjoy the stories from people who can laugh at themselves and at the foibles of others in a good-hearted way. Life's too short to go through it with a stick up your butt!
Mike

Sounds like your going to be ready for retirement. In the mean time, safe, trouble free travels.

Welcome from another Colorado member! And, from my wife, who is a "Maine-iac".

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
Pagosajoe, I hope you get to take your wife back to Maine often. I've met many, many people who say that they've never been there, but always wanted to go. I'm from deep in the woods (Sebec, ME) but always enjoy getting as much time at Acadia NP as I can.

Haven't been back in awhile. DW's family owns a clam shack in Shapleigh ME, and she'd love to get back to have some clams and lobstah rolls. Me too!
