Greetings from Fred and Tammi

Hello all. We are grateful to be part of this community forum. We call Colorado home (for now) and have been RVing for 10 years. Started with Class Cs (24’ Georgie Boy then 30’ Jayco Grey Hawk). We now have a 2003 Fleetwood Bounder, which is receiving a lot of “TLC”.

We look forward to doing more travel as we get close to “retirement”; maybe we’ll meet some of you some day.

I’m from the 60’s, so are there any Turtles out there?

Hello and welcome! We're in Ca. but seldom get further east than Az. Hope you get further west. We camp on the Sacramento River mostly. Some very knowledgeable rv'ers here. Don't know how much you've traveled but there's always stuff you'll learn.

Hi ya, beautiful area yiu camp in. Almost got transferred to San Jose and we were looking at Discovery Bay. I would say our experience is limited to what we’ve learned (the hard way of course) and be talking to the folks around us. We need more help than we’ll ever be able to share. Thanks for the reply...means a lot!

I believe the proper question is "Are you a turtle?" and the correct response is "You bet your sweet a** I am." Been a long time since someone asked. It brings back memories of a very near and dear friend that passed a couple of years ago. Thanks for the memories and welcome.

You are very welcome and that is absolutely the correct question and reply. I am sorry about your friend as it was someone very special to me that brought me into the circle of Turtles. Thank you!
