Greetings from Maine
Hi everyone,
Planning to retire January 2016 and be on the road FT in late fall 2016 (before the snow flies in Maine anyway). Have started looking pretty hard for a class A, concentrating on Newmar, Tiffin or perhaps a Monaco in the 36-42' range. So much do do and so many facets to this it's almost mind boggling, but it still beats working! We've decided when we sell the house next spring, we're going to go RV only and not try to maintain a regular home as well. We may however consider a lot with RV hookup, pad, and garage somewhere.
Anyway... We'll be in here reading everything relevant we can find and will try to contribute where we can.

Good luck with your search .............
Floor plan & storage should be at the top of your list ... now that you've narrowed down the brand ... if you're open to used, don't forget Travel Supreme up through 2007 .... have fun sitting and relaxing in a bunch of Buses ..... you will find the one that feels like home ....
Enjoy the search adventure .... and begin paring down .... as they say ... you can't take it with you .....
Keep us informed ....

Welcome! We are both in our early 50's and retired. We're in the process of selling our house and will be purchasing an Entegra Anthem or Aspire 42-45ft late summer to early fall. This entire forum is a wealth of information! I can't even begin to say how much we have learned since joining iRV2! Good luck and hope to be your neighbors in a campground somewhere down the road!

Welcome Aboard. You didn't mention where in Maine you're located, but downeast is one of our favorite summer areas.

Thanks for the welcome. Actually TS is on my radar and possibly even the right deal on a Country Coach.
We were dragging stuff out from overhead in the garage last weekend and 2-3 yard sales planned this summer/fall. May purchase an 18-20' trailer I could park at a friend's somewhere as there's a few things we want to keep. Wife will want to come in off the road in a few years if grandbabies appear on the scene...

I'm in southern Maine, just north of Portland, but have family in Deer Isle and my grandmother was born in Stonington. I was stationed there in the 80's as a warden for the Maine Marine Patrol. Even having lived in Maine all my life, I had a hard time understanding some of the old time down easter's when I first landed in Deer Isle! It's very beautiful there.
