greetings from Music City
Hi,
New member from the Nashville, TN area.
I found this site via the recommendation of a member of a motorsport site I frequent. I lurked/browsed a bit and went ahead and registered.
I have some past experience RVing. My parents had a small Class C camper and we did a lot of family outings when I was a young teen. I've enjoyed tent camping with the Scouts and YMCA groups as a kid, and on motorcycle trips as I got older and liked it alot, but my old body likes to sleep in a bed these days.
The wife and I are getting close to retirement age and thought a small travel trailer might be a great way to get out and see all the things we haven't seen yet, but I don't know diddly about them so I'd like to learn a bit here before making a buying decision.
This looks like a great site, and I look forward to browsing and soaking up some knowledge.

Welcome from Upstate New York!
We get to Nashville frequently as one of our sons lives there and has just had his first son. We usually stay at a nice KOA just a couple miles from his house (Nashville East) when we take the RV on our spring, summer, and fall trips. We drive the car in the winter but the motorhome is our preferred way to make the trip as we just pull into a rest stop when we get tired and like having our own bed/kitchen/bathroom for the trip.
We also enjoy taking a few extra days for exploring Mammoth Cave and checking out a couple of Tennessee and Kentucky stills along the way.
