Greetings from Ohio

Hello from the Cleveland area... We just joined late last night, so we're new to the site. The wife & I have been rv'ers for the last twenty or so years ( wore out two popups ). My parents turned me on to camping, ( I was in a playpen, had no choice ) almost fifty years ago!!!! For our third rv, we chose to go with an Aerolite cub 195, love the floorplan. Much easier to set up / break down in inclimate weather.

Well, from one fellow Buckeye (& a Browns fan!) to another, let me be the first to welcome you to iRV2. We're glad to have you here.

Please be sure to check out the North Central & Pond Piggie Forums. We've got about 8 or so of us (mix of families & couples from C/NE OH & W PA) that often rv together during the season & we post our campouts in those Forums. We'd love to have you join us. One of our group has an Aerolite Cub, too (member name Superslif). I'm sure he'll see you've got the same model & will chime in before too long.

Hope to meet up w/you sometime. Happy travels!

They dropped our Cub model too (#236). I really don't know why?? So much counter space and cabinets. 05' Cub Model #236 pictures.
We have a group of IRV2 families that get together a few times a year. They call themselves "The Pond Piggies" because we come from Western PA. and Central and Northern Ohio. Pond Piggies was referenced to the fish at Pymatuning spill-way. We have 9-10 families going to Cutty's near Akron this weekend.... Memorial Day Pond Piggies outing. We hang out in the North Central section at the bottom of the forums section.

JJnLilly,

Yes, welcome to iRV2. Glad you posted.

Do check out the North Central & Pond Piggie Forums. One of our group members, ISLAPP, is also from North Canton & has a Cougar 5-r - you have a lot in common right there. We'd love to have you join us at a campout sometime. We frequent campgrounds in your area that I'm sure you're familiar with (Cutty's, West Branch, Evergreen, Baylor Beach, just to name a few). Post in those forums if you're out & about & it's possible, one or more of us could meet up w/you.

See ya on the boards!

Thanks to all for the greetings. We've been camping for nearly 35 years now, started in a tent. Checking out the forums is my morning coffee thing. Hope to see some of you around the pond.
