Greetings from rainy Portland, Oregon
Greetings to all at iRV2!
My wife Judy and I have been full-timers in our '97 Safari Continental 4050 since January of 2010. We live with two giant Labs, both of whom believe that they're lap dogs, it's always fun to watch the expressions on the faces of other campers when they let their little yappers out and our big lummoxes fall out the door of our rig with their tails awaggin'. "You guys live with those two big dogs in that?" Yup. They don't care, and we don't either.
We spent a year as Oregon State Parks volunteer park hosts along the full length of the beautiful Oregon coast, then opened a brick and mortar eco-clothing store in historic downtown Astoria, Oregon.
Three years later, we're in the process of moving to Portland, Oregon where we'll be opening a second store and also opening a production studio for our lines of Made in Oregon men's and women's eco-clothing.
We're going to continue living full-time in the rig at a nice RV Park along the Columbia River near the Portland Yacht Club while we make these "adjustments to our lives". Whee!
Enough about us.
Our Safari has been a great rig. I know I'll have some tech questions for the forums as I have a genset that has been giving me fits and I need to replace my water pump too. Oh, and it is time for a new pair of chassis batteries.
See ya in the forums!

Have a neighbor who was never so happy to be away from a place. That park is nice looking but is right on the flight path for the airport Consider either Portland Fairview or Sandy river rv parks are a better, read that quieter alternatives.

Welcome from the North side of the Columbia. I can't drive through Astoria without stopping by Bowpickers. Good Luck with the new store.
