Greetings from SE PA
DH and I are looking to buy our first RV 5th wheel. So far the Presidental 2014 363RL is floating our boat the best. We are home builders by profession and astronomers by passion. We plan on traveling to astronomy conventions called "star parties" in style and comfort. We look forward to meeting new friends while traveling around the country. We welcome any advice this forum has to offer.

Thank you. Thank all of you for the greetings! My dad was a Desert Rat born in Mesa. Mom is an Okie. They got together in Ajo and made me in California. No wonder I'm a bit nomadic, now that I think of it! Anyway, spent some time around Ajo, Tucson, Yuma, Casa Grande, Winkleman and Hayden. A little around Phoenix and Mesa. 30 some odd years working for the railroad in California. One more baby to finish raising (17yearold) and then it"s a dust trail that I'll be making. I've been working on the MH to be independent of electricity. Diesel and propane are still an issue. Tend toward dry camping. I've been reading on this site for a while, using the insight of all of you to aid in making decisions about the MH. Thanks to all for that. Sorry for polluting the environment with my poor grammar. Just had to join in all this sharing. Been reading on surge protectors as of late. Sounds like the next major project for me. This MH (Tiqi Lagoon... don't ask) eats a LOT of money. Solar panels, batteries, tires, compressors, simple(?) repairs and now surge suppressors. Seems I read about this somewhere else on this site...
Bottom Line... Thanks to all of you for sharing and giving and caring. I hope to be a positive influence here.

Hi Julie & Shawn! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!
Hope you find exactly the right 5th wheel for your needs. We pulled a 5er for 10 years before getting the MH last year. We loved it!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
