Greetings from the high deserts of New Mexico

I'm just getting started being retired and finding a motorhome to explore in. Looking forward to learning all about RVing.

Cheers,

George

George;

I believe you have found the friendliest RV site on the Internet. Good luck on your search for the right RV. There is a wealth of information available to you here just by asking. We have a great group who like to help when they can.

Hi George

We were wanting to slide over to NM this trip but its cold over there man! I don't think I'm ready to navigate through snow and ice yet. We're hanging out in Laughlin, NV for now. Anyway good luck with your RV search.

Stay put Jerry! I-40 east bound from Albuquerque to Amarillo was closed yesterday and still hasn't opened! Big time blizzard has bared the pan handle.

Cheers,

George

This wasn't what I expected with the weather George. I thought the idea was to head south for the winter for the sunny warm stuff. Now that I think about it, if anyone remembers the snow storm in November of 1968? I drove my 62 Chevy Impala from Alice, Tx to Portland for Navy transfer. We hit snow in San Antonio and had to drive all the way to Durango, Co before anyone knew what tire chains were. I couldn't believe those chains lasted all the way home. Anyway George, maybe next year man, thanks.
