Just joined this weekend. Back into RVing after a short layoff. Have done most of the types over the years, starting in 1973 with a p/u camper, then a 23' Terry Trailer (from Alabama to Alaska), a 23' Class C, a 21' Toyota Micro, a 30' 5er, a 17' hybrid, and now a 23' Trail Cruiser 23SB. After 26 years in the US Army, I know canvass, so haven't gone back to that...
At one time I was planning on full timing, but on a work trip to AZ, we purchased a house, so our snow bird home replaced our 5er. Got back into RVing because the grandkids wanted to "camp" which to them means grandma and grandpa's RV. Tried a hybrid, but it was too small, the new trailer seems to work really well for us. I miss the 5er when camped, but not while pulling.
This forum seems like a really friendly group, although it looks like mostly a MH crowd. Browsing the Military/Vets topics has been educational and informative. Look forward to seeing some of you on the road.

Mopmop,
Welcome aboard, you will really enjoy the group, we're honest, helpful, okay--- a really good group!!!!
And if you look a little futher, I think you'll find the group has a larger if not more group of 5'vers, TT's, pop ups, etc. than MH's.
Heck, we just talk more (or have more problems)--------
Best,

mopmop...
Welcome to iRV2! Isn't it amazing what you do for your grandkids!
You have come across the friendliest RV forum around...with all sorts of RV owners broken into many groups...but we all play well together, which I find is one of the most important things about this forum.
Again..welcome to iRV2...I hope you look around the complete forum. Please visit & post often...it sounds like you will have lots to share!
