Greetings from Vermont
We are new to iRV2 but not new to RV'ing. Like many started out years ago with a tent and kept moving up. Now have an '04 Southwind 37c purchased after our Pace Arrow burned on a trip south (blew a new tire, caught fire and totalled it). Let's just say I'll never buy those tires or any tires from that dealer again!! I have checked the iRV2 site many times for info, finally decided to join.

Greetings and welcome to iRV2. The wife and I were in Vermont last fall and really enjoyed our minimal time in state. We parked the rig in Shellburne and saw as much as we could in the time we were there. Loved the state. Welcome......

Thanks for the welcome. Stowe is in a pretty section of VT, hope you enjoy your visit. Also hope the rain stops as we are experiencing flooding with road washouts. Seems like it has rained forever!!

It was a Bridgestone, had 900 miles on it. Our issue wasn't just the tire, I took it off and took it to the dealer 2 days before we left (right front) because it felt like it had a belt problem or was badly out of balance. I now know from what was said that they knew there was a problem with the tire but they passed it off. I put the tire on the tag axle and it lasted a day and a half then blew. Cost us a motorhome!!

The insurance got us another motor home, after a fight, lowballed us with an offer before anyone even saw the rig. They found out quickly that I had done my homework!!
