Hailing from Central Ohio
BeachRV? Yes, we snagged that custom plate.
It started as a joke that we needed a bigger family car. So, why stop at minivan when you can go Class A for less than the cost of a new minivan? Begin how we, in June 2016, picked up a new-to-us 21k/mi Thor Hurricane 30Q 31.5/ft motorhome built on a Ford F53 V10 Chassis. The previous owner took superb care of it, nicely converted all of the TVs to LCDs, and it had a extra thick serta mattress. It may not be the prettiest or fanciest coach, but it is very clean and it has all of the necessities for our travels. We have two girls and a son, and everyonne loves it. Plus, there is enough room for my wife to spin yarn while we drive.
So far we have put over 5k miles on it and we will probably do more miles this year. And, yes, eventually we will eye a diesel, but we needed to start somewhere!

Thank you both! We never thought we would enjoy and use it as much as we have! From day trips to yard camping to long trips, we use it far more frequently than we expected. It costs a bit more to drive, but usually we offset it by bring food with us opposed to buying/eating out.
I am glad to finally join up on a forum. Now, much to the dismay of my wife, I can obsess over RVs as much as cars.
