There are probably several, but I only have experience with two. Our favorite is Ft Desoto Park right on the water. Usually need reservations well in advance. My wife's cousin spends each winter at the KOA in Riviera Beach. The have water access, but not a beach. It is not far from the gulf beaches though. I found it pricey for other than long term stays.

I hope you enjoy your trip.

Welcome to the forum. Can't help you with cg choice, but you might want to check the camping section on this forum. Many happy and safe miles.

HWilsonl:

Give a look at Bay Bayou RV Park, Oldsmar, FL, located on the very Northern most tip of Tampa Bay on Hwy. 580 and between the city of Tampa and Clearwater on the Gulf. Great location, very neat, clean & pleasant spot.

I would second the Bay Bayou it is nice and has a great location for the Tampa/St. Pete's area.
