Hello

Ive been a casual observer of this site for a little over a year and my project is restoring a 27' 1981 Winnebago Chieftain. The motorhome is a class A with a Cheverolet chassis. So far I've had to replace the front Calipers and recore the radiator. Not bad considering it was given to me by my parents. It has 36,000 miles on it. I also just had the roof resealed along with having the front cap and windshield redone. I have to replace the ceiling in it and I have a pretty good idea how I'm going to do it. I'm also replacing the floor with some recycled pergo flooring I took out of my house. I'm doing all this to keep me out of trouble and also to share my love of the outdoors with my 10 mo old daughter. I figure by the time I get it useable she'll be the age she can enjoy it also.

Should be a fair sight cheaper than buying a new one. One of the first remodeling articles I read was someone doing a total redo on one of the earlier earlier model Chieftians.

Hello to you too and welcome to irv2.
By the looks of the outside you have a gem and will give you and daughter some great times together.
Enjoy the rebuild and safe travels in the future.
