First RV is a 1984 Winnebago Chieftain. Chevy 454 P30 22 FT. I have searched for the 22 FT Chieftain, not with much luck. Seems most are 27 and up. Rig is pretty good shape. Had a few leaks in roof after first trip with it. It had been sitting for a couple of years. I have noticed I have lost elecrical power in outlet in bath and light over table no longer works. Was working on last trip but outside metal was hot to touch. Any ideas?

byrdman, welcome to our website and forum. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. If too large a wattage bulb is installed in the fixture or if the connections to fixture wires are loose excesive heat will result. There sould be a max size wattage tag or stamping on the fixture. Good luck and keep us posted as to your repair projects too.

Welcome byrdman to irv2.
Make sure your bath outlet is not a GFI and needs to be reset. I would drop light and take a look at wiring maybe dried out from to higher watt bulbs.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.
