Hello!
hi all,
i wanted to introduce myself. i am new to the RV lifestyle, and have bought an RV, not so much for recreation but as housing. i live in the most expensive city in the US, and though i have a solid, middle class job of 14 years, and a masters degree, i just can't afford rent. my husband and i have decided to move into a trailer, parked in our friends' backyard to try to save money for a downpayment to eventually buy a place.
in march we bought a komfort 5th wheel. we are pretty excited about living landlord free in our own place. but it needs some work, so i am here to get tips.

Glad to have you join us here in the forums ; and hope your long range plan works out .
BTW: When I retired , I could no longer afford to live in the city I'd called home for 55 years ( one of the top 5 most expensive in Canada ) luckily I haven't had to move into my coach yet, being able to re-locate mortgage free saved me. For now
