Hello

My name is Martine and I am planning on retiring in two years. I want to purchase a pre-pwned Class A diesel motorhome at that time. I plan to live in it full time. Currently I am doing research on what to look for and what to avoid. Lots to learn! Lol

Welcome to iRV2 .

For first timers , I always say rent a unit for a week or so , drive it around and stay in a park .
As you're in a unit you can develop a list of , must have items you want in your own coach ; then would be nice items, and not really necessary .
So you have a really good idea when you do go shopping .

Also RV life style is not for everyone , so a trial before shelling out $$$$$$ is a good idea.

Cannot agree more… In my experience you will need to downsize your current living situation and monitor what you use on a daily basis which you will not have in an RV, to determine if that is what you really want. Managing just simple items like water, waste, laundry can be daunting unless hooked up in campground and the expense of campgrounds adds up. Some full timers work in the campground to cover costs.
But, good luck!
