Hello All

I just wanted to check in. The wife and I just got out first RV, we have had many TT but have now moved up to a class A. We are really exited and can't wait to get on the road, we just need to some a basic tune up (fluids, filters, plugs, wires).

Welcome to the MH forum...I remember the excitement feeling very well! I know you will be very happy with your decision to switch to a motorized rv. Good luck.

Welcome to IRV. If you literally wanted to move up you should have had the TT at the bottom of a hill, and the motorhome at the top while you transferred your goods.
DDDo share what you got! Inquiring minds want to know. Some here would even encourage adding it to your profile and/or signature. Take for instance the lack of a rig in mine. So does she drive well? Is the windshield too small? Do share. Dish!

We purchased a 1990 Hawkins MH that is 30' on a Chevy P30 frame. The coach is in excellent condition and only need a few minor things. The genet stop running while we were there looking at it, it needs emissions (not required were we bought it), and I am going to redo some of the front suspension and get it alined. It has many new parts under it, like tires, fuel system, shocks, ext…. I am also going to change all of the fluids to get a fresh start. It rolled over 70K on the 200 mile drive home and got 7.25 mpg @65 mph, the gas milage will get better as I need to adjust the carb (it is only pulling 16" of vacuum at idle). Thank you all for the warm welcome!
