Hello All

Hello to all,

My wife and I are new to this forum. We recently bought a 2010 Damon Daybreak (33 feet). We want to see more of this beautiful country in retirement ... which is coming soon.

It has been a true learning experience. Lots of firsts over the last three months with many more I'm sure. And of course, I've found the purchase of an RV is just the beginning. Between things we need, things we want, and necessary work on the RV, there always seems to be something required. But we were prepared for that. We're now looking forward to many miles of traveling.

Most recent purchase? A tow dolly. Campgrounds are wonderful but we consider them our base camp. Now we can more easily see all of the interesting places and things around our home away from home.

Biggest issue so far is RV "tail wagging". But I'll read the other topic areas for that.

Thanks in advance for all of the help you RVers provide to other RVers. I haven't run across one yet that isn't willing to lend a hand or show you how to do something. If only the world was made up of all RVers!

Thanks again.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Congrats on the new rig! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

I would suggest that you create a signature showing the make and model of your RV. It will help folks to answer questions you may have in the future.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome aboard.

Your 2010 Damon Daybreak is on a Ford F53 chassis with the V-10 engine is it not? If so, you may want to check the never-ending thread on the "Cheap Handling Fix" on this forum.

To cure the tailwag you mentioned I installed a Blue Ox Tiger Trak track bar. That greatly reduced the tail wag, and ours is comfortable now when passing trucks or driving in windy conditions.
