Hello Everybody!
My wife and I have been really enjoying the site for quite a while, learning and investigating. We have so much to learn and experience.

We are picking up our new home in 2 weeks in sunny California, then taking the longer route back to Michigan. Then if all goes well by fall of 2013 we will be full time Newbies!

Thanks in advance for all the upcoming answers to our questions and friendly advice!!

Congrats on the new MH from a fellow Michigander!

We just bought our first 5th wheel and can't wait to get out there and use it also.

This site really is a great place to come and learn. Have a safe trip back to michigan oh and by the way…we got 2" of snow last night.

day number 9!!!!
All we can say is WOW!!! New friends made, business cards exchanged...alot of help and advise...i am so amazed that there is a happy world out there.....boondocking...or at a camping site. We have been sleeping thru the night...and waking refreshed every morning.


We have learned that Arkansas has worse roads than Michigan, campgrounds are plentifull this part of December, driving and manuvering a 40 box is not as hard as i thought it would be, heated tile floors are the best-and the furnace is a wonderfull thing.....and not having to eat out while traveling is a gift!!! BUT...is now a treat.

We absoutely can not wait till next fall when our house is gone and we get to hit the road full time....


If there was one word to describe the whole experience....well....i guess it would be...FANTASTIC.

I will stop now......i could go on for hours!
