Hello everybody
We are new and actually pick up our new and first RV tomorrow. We live in far southern Illinois at southern tip of the Shawnee Natl. Forrest . Retiring end of the year and want to see America. We are life long boaters so there will be some boating along the way. Right now we are trying to learn the RV ropes and this looks a great place to learn. See ya out there, Mike and Vicki.

Welcome, glad to have you along for the ride. There seems to be a lot of long time boaters joining the forum recently.

Thanks everyone. Had a miss fire going to get the new rig. I misunderstood the sales guy and they would not have time to do all the prep they want to do so we are going this Friday and staying the weekend as a shakedown. We want to head west to Arizona this winter. Have you seen a thread of someone going from
Illinois to Arizona that shows some good parks to stay at? We will hold up in the Carefree area once there. We can't wait to hit the road! Thanks in advance. Mike
