Hello everybody!
Hi! My husband and I just bought our RV and we are so excited.
We're planning on having a lot of fun get-aways with our two boys in the 2011 Coachmen Freelander 30QB. Right now, we're becoming familiar with all of the ins and outs that we need to know about. If anyone has any great advice for newbies please enlighten me. Thank you!

I remember my first camping trip with a new motorhome in 1983. The first time I hooked up I looked around to see if anyone was watching. Be sure to ask for help if you have questions, we all were new to camping at one time and have gone through a learning curve just as you are now. Campers are a friendly group willing to help anyway anytime. I am always happy to assist others when I can.

Welcome to the forum!
Best advice... get out there and enjoy and much as possible. Like Darwin said... ask questions as you need to... campers are a friendly bunch.
Oh yeah... use plenty of water when you flush and don't dump until you are over half full.

Thanks you guys! I will be heading out on a five day trip in a few days, and so hopefully I'll be gaining quite a bit of practice and knowledge along the way.

By now, you are on your maiden voyage. As for advice to newbies: live in and enjoy the moment.
