Hello everyone

I am a new member from South Carolina. I hope to learn a lot from you all. I will be buying a 1978 Holiday Rambler 27 footer. The owners have stripped the interior and repaired the roof of leaks. The interior ceiling and walls will have to be replaced. Not sure of anything else that will have to be replaced at this time.
I think my first project should be making certaian that the roof is completely sealed. So any and all suggestions will be very much appreciated. What materials should I use for the roof?

Hi Rodney! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the group!

Sounds like you've got quite a project. I would recommend using Eternabond tape plus the Dicor 502LSW self-leveling sealant for any roof repairs. Hopefully the PO got the roof fixed so you don't have to worry about that. BTW, you will get the best results on your questions if you post them over in the appropriate areas of the forum. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area. Enjoy the forum!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome Rodney ... You are taking on a big task but a fun one just the same. You will enjoy being able to design the interior layout to your needs and whims. Keep us posted on the progress, and above all don't be shy about asking us for advice. To start with, I suggest that you carefully measure the interior then set up a base drawing in a CAD program. From there you will be able to test fit cabinet designs without wasting building materials.
