Hello everyone!

We're new RV-ing, and we jumped right in with a 44B Anthem going full time! Never camped before, and finding the learning curve is nearly straight up. Quite the adventure! Glad to know you all are out there and welcome your support when we (emotionally) crash and burn now and then!!

Glad to have you here with us.

Nothing like jumping into the deep end of the pool.
We did a similar thing, went big first.

Old saying,"buy your third RV first". Congratulations and best of luck.

Happy Trails!!!

Smile Greetings Roadies!

Greetings Fellow Roadies ! The Admiral's retirement is on the visible horizon, mine now fulfilled , and we have begun "The Quest" in ernest rather than casual observation. Yes, that seemingly unending fixation on floor plans, powertrains, purveyors and parks is now consuming all bandwidth at our sticks & bricks of Bluffton, SC (mainland Hilton Head). Two thousand questions will follow, but for now just two.
1.) Is there a semi reliable source for used RV market values (SOLD prices), rather than the dream world of listing / asking prices such as the NADA compilation ?
2.) Have you found the popular statement that (paraphrasing) "keep length below 35 feet for the parks" to be valid?
We are prior sailors (30' Pearson) with experience in small space living. We have been considering short diesel pushers...but still studying all forms of Class A RV, incl the Sprinters. We are a bi-coastal family and will need mountain pass climbing torque, and possibly bi polar considering the switch from sailing to RV's!

Thanks for your wisdom o'wise ones !

Howdy folks!
Welcome to the forum, great to have you here! You have a beautiful rig, congrats! There are many knowledgeable people here who will offer help, so ask away with any and all questions! Take your time and enjoy the- yes, steep learning curve we've all been there. Actually it's possible it never ends really.

Wishing you many safe/happy miles/years. Let us hear from ya, and show some coach pics too if you can!

Best regards,
W.D.

Genesis,

Welcome to the forum! Since you are new (like I was a short time ago, 10 months) I'll share some advice I received that has really helped.

Water pressure gauge and water filter. Please get both and the can be bought cheaply at Walmart. CG's (camp grounds) are notorious for having high water pressure that can damage your pipes in your RV. Don't want to blow your plumbing. Water filter helps with the not always clean water to keep your sinks and showers clean.

This is a great hobby or lifestyle to experience. So have a wonderful time and read some old threads here because there is a wealth of information in them.

See you around the threads! Lynne
