Hello Everyone! Just joined.
My name is Larry. I just registered for irv2.com! I don't own any type of RV at the present time. What I am doing and have done for about 6 months is research rv's. I live about 30 minutes from Lazy Days in Tampa, so have made numerous trips there and attended the RV show in Tampa. Have looked at and registered at various forums and so far I like this one the best, being able to just view forums prior to registering. Seems the more questions I get answers to, the more questions I come up with.
Here are my thoughts: Retiring in 5 years, would like to full time! In what, is what I'm researching. I live in Florida and want to stay here but want the freedom to move around, not constantly but maybe every 2 to 3 months. At first I thought a MH, but then after getting feed back people say it's not good for MH's to just sit. So now looking at 5th wheels and TT's. I will pay cash for whatever I get, budgeting in the $35,000 range, definitely used. Would need a TV, which I will purchase in a year or so while I'm still working and should have it paid off before I retire. I am alone, so wonder how hooking, unhooking and setting up will be by myself. I'm not worried about the length of time it would take, that's all I'll have is time....LOL.
So for now just an introduction. I will probably be posting a variety of dumb questions, generally in the 5th wheel/TT section or full timing section.
Look forward to hearing from all of you!

Welcome aboard! Enjoy the site. We found a lot of the answers we needed when researching our RV decision last year. This group is very friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong listening to the various viewpoints and a whole lot of experience coming from these irv2 members.
