Smile Hello Everyone - Solo RVer Coming Soon!

Hello everyone! I'm admittedly "green" to everything RV-related; however, I am absolutely thrilled to have found this online community. I look forward to absorbing as much knowledge as I can from you all, as well as continuing to read whatever I can find.

I am in the process of having a 1997 Winnebago Warrior inspected (pre-purchase); if all goes well, I plan to buy and test out being full-time with my feline companion (my cat regularly walks on a leash and loves the outdoors). I will be going into this as a "young," solo woman. With that said, I am most concerned about appearing vulnerable/being taken advantage of and am looking forward to figuring out how to navigate this (not to mention, potentially navigating an older Class A RV)! Safety, education, and strengthening my own vigilance are at the top of my priority list!

A little about me: I am a six-year Air Force veteran, I long for freedom, I have a creative soul, and have had lofty ideas for this lifestyle for years! Furthermore, it's extremely important for me to make sustainable upgrades as I move forward, such as configuring solar.

I know I'll have a lot of questions in the coming days and will make sure to check out pinned threads and explore as much as I can! Finally, I look forward to learning and growing with you all, as well as being a part of this community.

Warmly,

intothehills

Thank you so much! Did you both test the waters ten years ago, or dive right in?! It must be an incredible lifestyle to keep going at it for so long!
